Updates

Wednesday, June 12, 2002
I would like to apologize to everyone who has been waiting for updates on this page. Real Life™ keeps getting in the way. Also, I've done what I set out to do when I started this page, which was to have all of the bromides. So I think that, unless I get some new information from people or others wanting to go posting on my page with FanFics and FanArt, that this page is no longer going to be updated. I thank everyone who's been here, and the page will remain online for all those who wish to look at it. But unless people give me something to post, there will be no new posts on this page.

Thank You All

Okay... so I guess the updates haven't come in as fast as I'd hoped for them to. David has a lot of stuff going on right now, and so do I. But we're still here! And hey, I got another hit in the guestbook! It's a private message. but you can still look at it and say, "Wow, I'm really not the only person on the face of the Earth who goes to this page!" ^_^

There's gonna be some massive changes here in the near future. A friend of mine, David Castillo, has agreed to help me with the page. This means that there will be much greater graphic/artistic content, and easier layout... hey, I know when to turn to the professionals. I hope to have the page reformat done by Sunday, so I'll be holding on some further updates until then. This includes the new fanfic.

Also, I finally got us accepted to a webring! The Binary Lunar Page is now a member of The Lunar Webring. With any luck, this will get the page more traffic. Now all I need to do is figure out how to get the banner working...

And finally, there's been a change in the Lycos banner that was mandatory on every page. Now it's set to be a pop-up ad. When you see this add, just leave it alone; task-bar it, send it to the background, whatever, but DON'T CLOSE IT! If you close it, it will just pop up again when you move to the next page.

There seems to be a pattern with me updating on Tuesdays... Well, anyways, I got us a new counter (above), and have us our first Fan-Fic to post. And since I know understand how to access the site via FTP, things should be easier when it comes to updating. Also, I made some changes to the Bromides links. Now you won't have to look at a stupid Lycos banner every time you click on them.

Okay, here's how it is. I've been a fan of the PSX Lunar series since I picked up a copy by chance at a local video rental store. The artwork on the box was what got me- I'm really a sucker for anime. And once I got inside the box, things just got better from there. So here I am now, running my own web-page, in dedication to these games that have revolutionized the way I play.

Here's how everything should work. Home is where you are now. What's Lunar is... well, about Lunar. Photo Gallery is work I pick up on the web, of stuff I get from you that I find worthy. (Gives a web-god-like laugh) Game cheats are any cheats I find, or links to good walkthroughs. Bromides are like the pictures in the Gallery, only better. <grin> Fan-Fiction is works of pen based in the Lunar universe. About Me is fairly self-explanatory, and so is Links

This page and all its contents, except those  © 1994-2000 Working Designs/Studio Alex/Kadokawa Arts (which is most of the web site), are © 2001-02 Mark Slayton. But you can take if you wish. I share.
